Explore building beyond standard page layouts and how the interface, user accounts and underlying data connect.

Membership-based communities

Look at how member accounts, access and community features work together in a membership-based web app.

User dashboards

Explore organising information and actions around the logged-in user, with attention to what each person should be able to see and do.

Development foundations

Examine authentication, permissions, data privacy and secure handling of credentials as foundations for custom development.

Publishing and recovery

Explore free hosting options, domains, source-code backups and ways to continue developing a project after it is published.

Business email and practical methods

Discuss free business email options where suitable and learn about Team Leads development methods and trade secrets during the workshop.

Who this workshop is for

Beginners are welcome. Basic computer skills are helpful; you do not need to have built a website or completed Workshops 01–03.

This is a standalone workshop, separate from the three existing workshop packages and their inclusions. Discuss your experience and project goals with Team Leads before booking.

    Refinement, publishing and ongoing development

    Consider refinement, suitable hosting and email options, source-code backups and how to continue developing your project.
